HCCC is looking for Teacher’s Assistants!
HCCC is seeking assistant teachers. This is a full year position that will be part time (2:30-6:00 Monday through Friday). You will work with a lead teacher to implement all that goes into a nurturing, caring, fun, learning environment using an emergent, play based curriculum that meets the varying developmental needs of each individual child.
Some responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assisting in implementing play based and age appropriate activities and curriculum that promote a positive learning environment, in other words, have FUN!
Meet all aspects of center and state health and safety requirements, keep those kiddos (and you and your colleagues) safe!
Foster positive relationships, interactions, and communications with staff, families, and children.
Work cooperatively as a positive, supportive member of both the classroom and center teams, we love teamwork!
Promote one's own professional growth through attendance at staff meetings, workshops, and conferences
Complete various classroom set-up/clean-up tasks as needed
Candidates must complete a required CORI/DSS evaluation as per EEC guidelines
