What is Trunk or Treat? Trunk or Treat is a safe, child friendly way to visit with friends and have some Halloween fun in our parking lot! Families sign up to be a trunk or treat car and decorate their trunks and hand out treats. Children “trick or treat” from car to car.

How do you get to be a Trunk or Treat Car? Sign up on the sign-up sheet on the outside of Judy’s door. Spaces are limited so sign up early! A prize will be given for the most festively decorated trunk!

What time do we arrive to be a trunk or treat car? Trunk or Treat” cars must be in the parking lot at 5:45. The parking lot will be closed to cars promptly at 6:00. Pull into your space and open your trunk of treats.

What do we do about treats? Treat ideas might be: little bags of snacks ie; goldfish, teddy grahams, pretzels etc., juice boxes, apples, Halloween trinkets such as stickers, pencils, erasers, the less candy the better. Please plan on treats for about 100 children. The children will be excited to collect just about anything!

Do we have to decorate a trunk to attend? Absolutely not! We need “treaters” as well!

Who may attend? Trunk or treat is open to HCCC children and their siblings.
